Moonsorrow - Verisäkeet
Reviewed by Andreas Fleischer in 3/28/2007
Finnish MOONSORROW should be a band you know and have at least one album of in your CD collection. Their atmospheric way of playing metal mixed with both raw and clean vocals creates a certain feeling it is difficult to explain. Since their release of the debut album “Voimasta Ja Kunniasta” in 2001 they have rapidly grown and become one of the flagships within Finnish metal.
“Verisäkeet” shows us why these guys can claim such a position within the genre. Their music is inspiring, perfectly executed and timed with precision. Every single second has been considered when this album was written and it is so complete and refined yet natural, raw and down to earth without any pompous or insanely huge orchestra arrangements. MOONSORROW have found their unique sound and this album proofs that they are exploring and experimenting within their own little metal sphere. These Finns have pulled it off again! Go out and get it, be metalized!

i just got my new acer aspire 7735ZG, but it does not recognize my headset when i connect it, and keeps on playing sol republic headphones from the speakers. when i go to audio devices it only shows the realtek HDMI output, the speakers, and the realtek digital output under playback. sol republic when i pull the headset inn and out the "line in" symbol under recording turns on and of. in device manager it says that all my drivers are working properly. when i configure speakers in audio devices form stereo to 5.1 surround i get sound in popsolrepublic.com my headset, but it is very uneven and "far away". i have tried different headsets, with the same results. i also tried windows update, to see if it would republic headphones find any missing drives or updates, but it didn t.
If as you say you are connecting to the Line-in jack, then this is the wrong place to put your headphones . Line in is for external devices, mp3 players etc.
