Rapture - Silent Stage

Goth metal from Finland this, mixing death- and clean vocal styles. The music is melodic and heavy, but far from original.

This album should have a certain appeal to those of you out there who fancy bands like Fields Of The Nephilim, Him and Paradise Lost, 'cause a mix of these is just excactly what this project sounds like, although not quite touching the same standard as these references.

The sound on the album is very good, and especially the bass stands out.

Great music for a night of candlelights and red wine perhaps? Check this one out; in spite of some boring parts, you could get stuck with far worse products than this... The first song, entitled "Misery", is the best of the lot!
